The Municipal Archive of Murcia returns to the year 2020, the edition of the calendar that began in 2017 on the occasion of the celebration of the 750th anniversary of the founding of the Council.
With the edition of this new calendar it is intended to give visibility and spread the magnificent bibliographic and documentary heritage that our Archive treasures, a key piece of the city's cultural heritage.
The theme that underlies this small exhibition is the city of Murcia, its history and its visions.
Thus, the document by which Alfonso X grants a license to the Council to open a new door in the city walls in 1268, in addition to the Royal Identity Document by which the title of "Very noble and very loyal" is recognized in 1558.
It also includes other small historical contributions about the Kingdom that come from one of the first periodic publications of Murcia: "The Literary Mail" dated in 1792. The table that Ramón Medel produced in 1863 with the illustrious surnames and shields of the nobility is also reproduced. Murcia
Given the variety and diversity of materials that make up the Archive, you can also see places in Murcia through the eyes of artists and photographers who wanted to capture their vision of emblematic corners of our city.
