The solidarity market that this weekend has been held in the Plaza de Europa for the benefit of the families served by Cáritas de San Lorenzo has raised about 3,000 euros, which is triple that of the last edition.
This event, organized by the youth of the Parish of San Lorenzo in collaboration with the Department of Social and Family Rights, allowed visitors to purchase clothing, handmade items, books, old magazines, shoes, hats, furniture, paintings, articles of collection...
Throughout the month of November and part of December, the Christmas group in San Lorenzo collected items donated for this initiative in the parish.
The Councilor for Social and Family Rights, Pilar Torres, thanked that "Murcia have once again demonstrated their great solidarity with the needy and that the young people of San Lorenzo have organized this successful market."
