Investments in districts focus Urbamusa's ongoing works in 2019 (23/12/2019)

The expansion of the Aljucer Municipal Center, the reform of the Cabezo de Torres Senior Center, the new Corvera Exhibition Center, the Espinardo Senior Center, the Javalí Nuevo Local Office, the remodeling of the Los Garres Casino and the hall 24 hours of study in Zeneta are some of the projects that are being executed.

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, presided today the Board of Directors of Urbamusa, in which the new directors of the organization took office: Antonio Navarro, Rebeca Pérez, José Guillén, Andrés Francisco Guerrero, Ainhoa ​​Sánchez, Mario Gómez, José Palma, Ginés Ruiz, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, Enrique Ujaldón and Jaime Pérez.

During the meeting, he realized the projects under study, completed and in execution carried out this 2019. The Murcia districts monopolize most of the works that are currently underway.

Specifically, they are the following: the remodeling and expansion of the Municipal Center of Aljucer, the reform of the ground floor of the Social Center of Mayores de Cabezo de Torres, the new Corial Fairgrounds, multipurpose room in the medical office of Era Alta, Espinardo Senior Center, installation of artificial turf at the 7 de Guadalupe soccer field, Local Office in Javalí Nuevo, remodeling of the first floor and access on the ground floor of the Los Garres Casino building, 24-hour study room in Zeneta .

The works of the new Maneuvering Park for Murcia Firefighters, the Faculty of Tourism and 16 homes are also underway.

Finished works

With regard to the projects completed this 2019, the urban regeneration and renovation works of the Los Rosales neighborhood, in El Palmar, stand out;

the urbanization of the plot of the Center of Municipal Initiatives (CIM-M) and the extension of said center, located in the district of Churra;

the islet of the Plaza de Abastos de Espinardo;

the remodeling of pavilions 1 and 2 of the Artillery Barracks;

as well as the remodeling of the 'Murcia Río' river walk.
