The Governing Board today approved the granting of grants from the annual call for the development of activities in the 2018/2019 sports season.

The total amount granted amounts to 771,906.07 euros.

This amount will be distributed among a total of 107 beneficiaries, of which 28 are individual athletes and the rest are clubs, sports associations, corporations and federations.

In this way, the subsidized programs are for the maintenance of federated teams that participate in the highest category of national regular league competition, distributed in two subgroups: football, futsal, basketball, handball and volleyball, as well as the other disciplines of team sports.

Also for the maintenance of federated teams that participate in the other categories of regular league competition at national level (which is not the highest category) inter-regional, regional or local.

The subgroups are again: football, futsal, basketball, handball and volleyball, in addition to the rest of team sports disciplines.

Likewise, sports activities in the categories of swimming, sports initiation programs (sports schools), as well as organization of sporting events in the municipality and individual athletes receive financial assistance.
