Lobosillo opens its new pedestrian zone compatible with road traffic (17/12/2019)

Lobosillo has already completed the pedestrianization works of some of its most central streets, some works of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, which coordinates the Department of Pedanías and Barrios, directed by Marco Antonio Fernández.

The mayor has visited this morning the works that have been developed in this district, along with the president of the Municipal Board, Carmen Conesa.

Specifically, the work has consisted of paving a total of 2,831.60 square meters of surface, housing the Manuel González Marco Municipal Police streets, García Morato, Dr. Fleming, Sanjurjo, General Mola, Calvo Sotelo, the adjacent sidewalks and crossing from Onésimo Redondo to San Pedro Apóstol.

"This action allows the streets to be transformed into pedestrian roads compatible with road traffic in order to favor sustainable mobility in the village," said the councilor.

The works have been carried out by Construcciones Urdecón with an investment of 112,590 euros.

“With these actions we improve the benefits and services of our districts and neighborhoods, thus favoring the quality of life of our neighbors,†adds Marco Antonio Fernández.

Municipality Vertebration

The City Council activates the investment in districts for the vertebration of the municipality through the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, which coordinates the Department of Pedanías and Barrios, directed by Marco Antonio Fernández.

This plan has plans to undertake 51 projects requested by the municipal boards with a budget of 14 million euros.

Of which, a total of 20 performances are already underway in Lobosillo, Cabezo de Torres, Corvera, Era Alta, Espinardo, Gea and Truyols, Guadalupe, Javalí Nuevo, Los Garres, Los Ramos, Santa Cruz, Zeneta, Algezares, Aljucer , Alquerías, Sangonera la Verde, Torreagüera, San José de la Vega, Puebla de Soto and Patiño.

The works are developed in sports facilities, senior centers, roads and green areas.

"This investment is an effort for the municipality to build the municipality, ensure order in each of our locality with the provision of the necessary infrastructure, demanded by the neighbors," says Marco Antonio Fernández.
