"Tale of Christmas" with Murcian talent (15/12/2019)

Teniente Flomesta Avenue had to be cut off to traffic as a security measure by the agglomeration of people

Thousands of Murcia and visitors crowded yesterday the Plaza de Belluga and Glorieta de España to enjoy two unpublished shows with live music, aerobatics and 3D effects.

The company 'Bid!'

surprised with a number all over, 40 meters high, in front of the Cathedral of Murcia.

The artists performed 'Asteroid B-612', a piece inspired by the classic 'The Little Prince', by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, with which they surprised young and old.

Then the events continued at the door of the City Hall.

It was time to enjoy 'Christmas Story', an audiovisual show in which more than 40 people participated, from designers, screenwriters, musicians, performers, producers, singers and producers, all of them from Murcia.

Julio Navarro and Clara Morata were in charge of putting the voice to the characters of this story, which combines fantasy and Christmas themes, and which will be screened every day, at 7:00 pm, on the facade of the town hall.

Visitors entered the bowels of the Town Hall clock, met their watchmaker with 800 years of history, somewhat clueless and affable, and shared the magic of Christmas, which was what made the bells ring again .

It was an act full of surprises.

The Murcian artist Crimson, winner of the latest edition of CreaMurcia in the author mode, was responsible for giving a live voice to this 'Christmas Story', in collaboration with the choir of the Villa Pilar educational center.

And finally, the Murcian group Belter Souls put the finishing touch with a recital of Christmas songs, which made all attendees dance and sing.

"The event brought together thousands of people again, so the Teniente Flomesta Avenue had to be cut off to traffic as a security measure by the agglomeration of people," explains Rebeca Pérez, Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, "because without a doubt they were two unique events of our Christmas that no Murcia wanted to miss. "

Unique pieces at the Christmas Market

In this way, the Market, consisting of 20 wooden booths, was also opened yesterday and will remain open until January 3, from 11 am to 11 pm.

Creativity, music and activities are the protagonists of this Christmas enclave, where there are more than 40 brands of young creators to showcase their products.

In addition, it will have four 'foodtrucks'.

In addition, this year the market has a new attraction for children, in the children's area, a ferris wheel that reaches 4 meters high.

This space also houses Santa's sleigh and Lili workshops, the EcoElfa of Christmas, who will raise awareness and teach children the importance of the three 'erres': reduce, recycle and reuse.

The workshops will run until January 3.
