The Christmas Story reveals this afternoon the history of the Town Hall watchmaker and its 800 years of history (14/12/2019)

With strokes of fantasy and Christmas themes, this story will be screened on the facade of the Town Hall with live music, with the voice of Crimson, winner of CreaMurcia.

La Glorieta also hosts the opening of the Christmas Market, starting at 7 pm, where a surprise musical theater show will also be held for the whole family.

Previously, at 6 pm, Belluga Square will host a performance of aerial theater and acrobatic dance at 40 meters high.

An unprecedented show for the whole family, with live music and 3D effects on the facade of the Town Hall.

This is how the Christmas Story of Murcia will be unveiled this afternoon, at 7:00 p.m., whose plot takes place at the Murcia Town Hall and features a watchmaker with 800 years of history, somewhat clueless and affable.

The Christmas Story is the inauguration of the La Glorieta Christmas Market, consisting of 20 wooden houses, will remain open until January 3.

The Murcian artist Crimson, winner of the latest edition of CreaMurcia in the author song mode, will star in the Christmas Story song, in collaboration with the choir of the Villa Pilar educational center.

In addition, a company of recognized prestige, which fuses the musical theater format with the traditional concert, will perform a surprise show, inviting all attendees to dance.

The artists will represent 'Asteroid B-612', a bet inspired by the classic 'The Little Prince', by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

Christmas market

The Market, consisting of 20 wooden booths, will remain open until January 3, from 11 am to 11 pm.

Creativity, music and activities will be the protagonists of this Christmas enclave, through which more than 40 brands of young creators will pass to showcase their products.

In addition, it will have four 'foodtrucks'.

More than 40 decorative elements make up the Market, set in the Nordic markets, among lights, Christmas figures, firs, etc.

The central point will be the circular stage, through which 16 groups that have participated in the CreaMurcia will pass to put rhythm to Christmas.

As for the Christmas Market programming, on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve there will be a snack with performances.

The Christmas Story will be screened every day, at 7 pm and 10 pm, on the facade of the Town Hall.

The Christmas Market has the collaboration of Transportes de Murcia, Tram of Murcia, Ferrovial Services and Estrella de Levante.

A ferris wheel and workshops for the little ones

On this occasion the Market will have a new attraction for the little ones, in the children's area, a ferris wheel that reaches 4 meters high.

Also, this space will house Santa's sleigh and Lili's workshops, the EcoElfa of Christmas, who will raise awareness and teach children the importance of the three 'erres': reduce, recycle and reuse.

The workshops will run until January 3.
