The magazine of the Faculty of Communication of the Catholic University of Murcia has become part of the new version of the Latindex portal, a directory of renowned academic publications among the Spanish-speaking international scientific community

The scientific magazine Sphera Publica, which since 2000 publishes the Department of Communication Sciences of the UCAM, has been integrated into the new Latindex Catalog 2.0, the largest international repository of Spanish-speaking scientific publications.

Sphera Publica has already received recognition for its work after entering the Latin Platform of Communication Magazines (PlatCom) in 2016. Since then it has consolidated its work to disseminate research work carried out in the area of ​​Sciences of the Communication.

Likewise, the journal provides quality scientific publications with theoretical and even empirical approaches, which reflect current current topics in the scientific field, as well as other paradigmatic case studies of relevance in the academic world.

Now, three years later of that recognition, the magazine has also managed to enter the Latindex Catalog 2.0 and become a national and international benchmark.

In this way, the quality of recent years is endorsed and the magazine continues to take steps for its development and consolidation.

According to the editorial coordinator of the magazine, Professor José Manuel Noguera, "entering Catalog 2.0 is a humble but important step, since having a consolidated scientific journal is important for the Faculty, for our researchers and for the university in general" .

Its management team consists of doctors Pablo Blesa, director of the magazine and dean of the School of Communication;

María del Mar Rodríguez, deputy director of the magazine and professor of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication, and Beatriz Correyero, advisor and vice-dean of the Degree in Journalism.

Since 2013 it has two numbers a year, in July and December, in online format: sphera.ucam.edu
