The PSOE advocates a comprehensive sanitation of the City Council because it is "indecent" the constant suspicion of customer networks (22/11/2019)

After the latest information stating that the former councilor of the PP Cristóbal Herrero granted works for almost 700,000 euros to related companies, the Socialist Municipal Group believes that "the City of Murcia needs, without further delay or obstacles, a deep sanitation that purifies responsibilities and that clarifies all the supposed corrupts them so that we can establish a more transparent and above all rigorous management ", affirms the socialist spokesman, José Antonio Serrano.

He affirms that "we cannot consent that the City Council of which we are a part will startle us with constant complaints about alleged abuses of those who have had government responsibilities, but it is also that, apparently, these favor deals are still maintained today, since the companies benefiting from Herrero's finger contracts continue to work for our administration. "

"We do not understand how companies that are being investigated by the UDEF continue to benefit from municipal contracts and have already invoiced almost 600,000 euros so far this year. What is clear is that although the PP has sold us a renewal of the equipment of Government the procedure seems to remain in force, "says the spokesman.

In this regard, he notes that "the alleged plot of clientelistic network that was made known by the recordings of a government councilor, who had to resign, seems to be a plot inherited and maintained by the current mayor, and Ballesta should assume his responsibility" .

Likewise, he understands that "the PP is obsessed with centralization, apparently to do and undo at will, and in the meantime the pediatric mayors are inspected to the last cent, as it should be. Therefore the PSOE, today more than ever , bets on an impolute transparency and decentralization and for this, a Citizen Participation Regulation must be approved that regulates the provision of resources to municipal boards. "

"It is incredible that all this is happening and this City Council continues to subsist. It is indecent and shameful, our neighbors who assume their responsibility as taxpayers on time, do not deserve these periodic complaints about municipal management," said Serrano.
