The Councilor for Development, Mario Gómez, today summoned the spokesmen of the political groups to establish the first guidelines and the future operation of the Special Commission for the Surveillance of Contracting that will formally start the first week of December.
Thus, they have agreed that their call will be monthly, setting the first week of each month, as well as the order of priority of the contracts to be reviewed, starting with that of the municipal road cleaning, collection and waste treatment service.
"The fundamental objective of control and revision of the contracts," explained Councilor Mario Gómez, "will focus on verifying compliance with the conditions of the awarded offer and guaranteeing the effectiveness and quality of the service by the concessionaires."
In this way, the person in charge of Development has shown his satisfaction because "one of the most necessary and demanded commissions of the previous mandate will be launched imminently. A pending debt that, as public representatives, we have with all Murcia" .
"We must be inflexible with the control, control and surveillance of public contracts," insisted Mario Gómez, who, in this regard, has again emphasized the "need to carry out a joint work that allows us to move forward in this line and improve the quality of public services ".
During the previous term, only three of the eight proposed contracts were analyzed, detecting deficiencies in Tribugest, Home Help and sports facilities.
"As president of the Special Commission on Contracts Surveillance I will comply with the work schedule that we all set and thus be able to achieve the objectives set."
