The Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Murcia opens on Tuesday, November 12, a pictorial mural to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first promotion of the Faculty.
The act will be at 11.00 outside the Faculty.
For the election of the mural's motives, a contest was won that won the project entitled 'The theory of mathematical evolution', presented by three students of Fine Arts: María Escarabajal Martínez, María de Todos los Santos Fernández Abellán and María Soledad González- Martinez reform.
The winners have spent the last weeks finishing the mural and will receive their diploma on November 14 within the act with which they will begin the activities of academic celebration of the Feast of San Alberto Magno, patron of the faculties of Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics and chemistry.
