The Concha de Luz Festival returns one more year to reflect on art, values ​​and women (11/11/2019)

The Concha de Luz Festival returns one more year to publicize issues and presentations related to women, the world of art, and the values ​​that will be held from November 18 to 22 in the Cultural Classroom of the Cultural Foundation of Caja Murcia.

The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, has reported that "this cultural meeting is made up of different activities such as musical performances, exhibitions or poetic recitals and structured in presentations and interventions of different personalities, highlighting the role of women and his work in the art world. Without a doubt, a forum in which to learn, reflect and give visibility to all the talent we have in our land, initiatives that we will support from the institutions to promote our cultural talent. "

A sample of painting, photography and drawing will be held at the El Carmen Cultural Center where Mari Sol Socorro Morente, Charo Guarino, María José Cárceles and Samuel Gómez will exhibit.

The inauguration will be on Friday, November 15, at 18.30, with the artistic intervention of María Dolores Moreno and Pedro Antonio Garrigós.

Among the speakers, Nuria Vidal Carpio, general director of the ONCE in Murcia, Alfonsa García Armenteros, author of the book 'From princesses to slaves', the journalist Antonio Botías or Alejandra Selma Penalva, among others.

As for musical activities, Jana Novak, the soprano Amalia Flores, the pianist Pablo Ruiz, Estrella Victoria, Paquita Martínez, the singer Amarela, María Dolores Moreno, soloist of castanets and dance teacher, and the pianist María Victoria Casanova will be present.

To these performances are added the poetic recitals that will take place every day of the festival such as María Pilar Herrero Martínez, Carmen Gallego, Pedro Antonio Martínez Antolinos, Jesús Miguel Pacheco, Isabel A. Martínez Miralles de Dolores Ibarra, Rosa Raya and Isabel AM Miralles, Carmen Martínez Mateos, Encarna Recio Blanco, Mari Sol Socorro Morente and Juan Tomás Frutos.

"Without a doubt a very complete festival that this year celebrates its ninth edition and in which we hope that all Murcia and Murcia attend, enjoy and participate in the culture of our municipality," concludes Pacheco.
