The Cultural Centers Service will keep users informed in a timely manner |
The Department of Culture and Recovery in order to ensure the safety of users of the Cultural Center of Espinardo will transfer activities that take place there to the CEIP Salzillo school.
The studies carried out on the roof slab of the ground floor of the building, which is 90 years old, determine "the obsolete state of the slab, with serious deficiencies in the integrity of the joists", so that "it is not it can guarantee that the slab responds adequately to the requests motivated by the public use of the first floor of the building, so it is estimated that such use should be suspended. "
The report adds that "it must be taken into account that the sloping roof existing in the building presents great deficiencies, since in addition to being constituted by wooden trusses of almost a century old, it presents arrows and wear on battens."
The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, has indicated that "since we have known the report we have worked quickly and efficiently to solve this problematic problem."
Thus the Service of Cultural Centers is planning the transfer of activities and will inform its users of all the changes that are made.
