The Sur Sur Study Room modifies its schedule next weekend because it is an electoral college (06/11/2019)

"The use of this room as a polling station is done to respond to the demand to bring and unify the tables to the voters of Patiño and Santiago el Mayor who previously had to make a greater displacement and thus facilitate their right to vote," he clarifies Mercedes Barnabas

The installation will interrupt its service from Saturday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m., until Monday, November 11, at 11 a.m.

The Ronda Sur Study Room will modify its service next weekend on the occasion of the general elections of November 10.

Specifically, the facility will close on Saturday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, and reopen its doors to the public on Monday, November 11, at 11 a.m.

“We have agreed with the different municipal services, such as Statistics and Cleaning, to minimize the hours of interruption of the service and thus reduce the inconvenience to the students who frequent it,†explains Mercedes Bernabé, Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government.

Therefore, the room will be closed during election Sunday and the minimum hours needed on Saturday night and Monday morning to carry out the assembly and disassembly of the electoral device.

Since the new municipal infrastructure was created a few months ago, the room has served to bring the polling stations closer to the voters and facilitate voting, as was done in the last general elections of April 28 and in the regional elections of May 26 .

“The use of this room as a polling station is done to respond to the demand to bring and unify the tables to the voters of Patiño and Santiago el Mayor who previously had to make a greater displacement and thus facilitate their right to vote,†he clarifies Mercedes Barnabas
