The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia begins the events to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary (06/11/2019)

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia starts this Thursday, November 7, the acts to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of its foundation.

The date chosen coincides with the celebrations San Lucas, patron of the Faculty.

The institutional act will begin at 9.30 am in the auditorium of the Faculty with the presentation of the official program of activities.

Then, the reading of the proclamation of St. Luke by students of the Faculty will take place.

Next, there will be conferences and during the morning various sports activities will be held between students and teachers.

The program of events of the day is as follows:

9:30 a.m.

- 9:40 a.m.

Presentation of the program of activities of the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine in charge of the decanal team of the faculty.

9: 40h.

- 10:40 h.

Proclamation of St. Luke by the students.

10: 40h.

- 12:15 h.

Round table presented and moderated by Aurelio Luna, Professor of Legal and Forensic Medicine of the UMU.

In it they will intervene:

Pedro Marset Campos, retired professor of History of Medicine at UMU

Incarnation Guillén Navarro.

Geneticist and professor of the UMU

Francisco Toledo Romero, professor of Psychiatry at the UMU

Award ceremony for the 50th anniversary logo and delivery of sports awards

12.30 p.m.

Appetizer and performance of the prickly pear

1:00 p.m.

Sports activities on the tracks of the Espinardo Campus, among which a football match between teachers and students stands out
