We can-Equo denounces that "Popular Party and Citizens embrace again to the extreme right" (06/11/2019)

The constitution, this week, of six municipal boards that will be chaired by Vox, makes it clear that "two parties that boast of Democrats and constitutionalists have embraced the radical and unconstitutional right to maintain their power."

From the municipal group Podemos-Equo have lamented that it is the Popular Party and Citizens who are increasing the power of the radicals of Vox, "a power that today has not been given to the polls."

This week, six municipal boards will be set up, Guadalupe, Santo Ángel, Aljucer, San Pío X, Era Alta and La Albatalía, which will remain in the hands of Vox, thanks to the votes of the Popular Party and Citizens.

There is the circumstance that in five of these meetings the right has not obtained a majority and, in one of them, the High Era, the victory was for the Popular Party.

"It is clear that everything goes to them to gain power. Why PP and C's give six municipal meetings to Vox ?, Why increase the power of an ultra-right whose votes do not need ?. Unfortunately we will know the answer throughout the legislature. "

Ginés Ruiz Maciá has been convinced of the collusion and permissiveness that the Popular Party and Citizens have with the Vox constitutionalists, both in the municipality and in the Region.

"They not only give them together that they do not belong to them by popular will, they also give them certain privileges behind closed doors."

In this regard, Ruiz Maciá recalled that last week we learned that the two Vox advisors in the City Council receive a gross annual salary of 49,000 euros, "a figure far removed from the amounts agreed in the Board of Spokesmen for what is obviously, they had to negotiate behind closed doors in Ballesta's office. "

In this sense, the spokesman of Podemos-Equo in the City of Murcia has insisted that this strategy is giving Vox "a power that does not correspond to its electoral results" and wanted to remember that "in a democratic country, to the extreme right must be fought and not pushed to power or given wings to implement its racist, homophobic and misogynistic, illegal and unconstitutional policies. "
