The Networks program will host the first Trivial Championship for young people next Saturday (05/11/2019)

The Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth, through the program 'Networks for leisure time' has scheduled for this weekend a wide range of free activities for young people.

On Friday 8 in the afternoon the workshops of 'Autumn Recipes' in the 585m2 Young Space and 'Natural Cosmetics' in the Cultural Center of the Pool begin.

On Saturday morning you will also start 'Climbing a climbing wall' at the La Montaña Mágica climbing wall in the San Basilio neighborhood.

On Saturday, October 9, the first 'Trivial Championship' will be held in the 585m2 Youth Space.

The day will pass with different games between the teams reaching the semifinals and finals in which there will only be one winning team.

With this activity young people can demonstrate their knowledge in general culture.

On Saturday 9, in the afternoon, the 'Hiking trail in the Sierra de Altahona, real owl territory' will take place.

It is an itinerary through one of the most remote and little known mountain ranges of the municipality of Murcia.

Nestled in the so-called 'lunar landscape', it is a perfect watchtower with formidable views of the countryside of Cartagena, Mar Menor, Sierra de Columbares, Mamellones and the Cresta del Gallo.

In addition, it is part of the ZEPA (Zone of special protection of birds) of the Valley, due to the strong presence of Owl (Bubo Bubo) which is the raptor emblem of these territories.

This next Saturday, the 9th, young people will also be able to visit the most emblematic streets of Murcia with the Guided Route: History of our streets', to know the origin of their denomination and the most illustrious characters that lived in them.

Trapería and Platería streets, Jabonerías Street (Old Guild Street), Zapateros Street (now Campuzano Palace front), Society Streets (Headquarters of the former Economic Society of Friends of the Country), Azucaque Street, Madre de Dios Street: Headquarters of the former Convent Madre de Dios, Calle San Antonio (Headquarters of the hermitage of the same name and one of the city's Arab baths), Plaza Camachos, the city's old bullring.

The Night Indoor Soccer Championship continues in the José Barnés Sports Center and the workshops of jugger, manga comic, guitar, drawing and painting, skating, a wide variety of free activities with the aim of energizing the weekends of young people.
