The Governing Board has approved the award of the remodeling of the first floor and access on the ground floor of the Los Garres Casino building.
These works will allow the residents of the village to have a study room next summer that they can use 24 hours, equipped with computers and a multipurpose room.
These new municipal facilities will be launched in the former building of the Casino de Los Garres, some units that are closed and whose first floor has been transferred to the City Council to be recovered and made available to neighbors.
It has also planned the conditioning of the facade and provide the building with accessibility with a ramp and elevator.
On the ground floor the area of ​​the canteen, the toilets will be reformed and an own area will be reserved for the members of the Casino, who will have their independent entrance.
On the other hand, the upper floor will be conditioned to launch a 24-hour study room with 40 study posts and the installation of computers is planned.
A second multipurpose room of 120 square meters will be added to this area where events or meetings can be held.
The works will be carried out by Lorquimur SL for 220,968.40 euros and within 6 months.
This project is part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, which coordinates the Department of Pedanías y Barrios, which is directed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
