The City Council receives Italian, French and Spanish students from the Erasmus + program (28/10/2019)

Italian, French and Spanish students, belonging to the 'Erasmus +' program, have visited this afternoon the Plenary Hall of the City of Murcia.

The Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, has been in charge of receiving these students who are developing their studies at the IES Rector Francisco Sabater de Cabezo de Torres.

The mayor has explained the history of the room, as one of the places where the most important decisions of the municipality are taken and a space that receives very important personalities such as mayors, kings or presidents.

A total of 28 students have attended (14 Spanish, 7 French and 7 Italian), who are currently studying 3rd, 4th of the ESO and 1st of Baccalaureate.

They have been accompanied by eight teachers (2 Italians, 2 French and 4 from Spain) and four parents.

Specifically, the students come from the 'Liceo Giulio Cesare', from Bari, in Italy, and the French school association 'Atelier des parcours', from Saint Pol de León, in Brittany.

The act consisted of a reception by the City Councilor, which also involved Fernando Carmona, responsible for the project at the Rector Francisco Sabater IES, and Jean Luc Maze, coordinator in France.

Finally, he concluded with a family photo with the students.

This reception is framed in the events scheduled for these students, within the 'Erasmus +' program, from November 27 to 1.

In addition to visiting the Murcian town hall, they will also know about Cartagena, as well as other neighborhoods and places in the city.
