The municipality of the Region that recycles more glass during the campaign will get a municipal track to be reformed with recycled glass

Thus, five vinyl containers have been installed with the campaign that will remain until next Sunday, November 3, on Liberty Avenue, Glorieta, Alfonso X, University Square and Plaza Santa Isabel, where Murcia will have to deposit their containers of glass and thus achieve that in the municipality a municipal track with recycled glass is built, as an example of the circular economy.

Rebeca Pérez has encouraged all Murcia "to participate in the campaign and to continue demonstrating that Murcia is a city committed to the environment and committed to recycling."

"Recycling glass is a key element in the fight against climate change. By using calcine (recycled glass) in the manufacture of new packaging, the extraction of raw materials from nature is avoided, avoiding soil erosion and deforestation of our In addition, the emission of CO2 in the manufacturing process is minimized and energy is saved, "said the councilor.

With this campaign Ecovidrio launches a challenge to citizens and rewards its collective effort and commitment to recycling with the reform of a municipal track with recycled glass.
