The University Center L'Ecole Supérieure des Métiers du Sport (ILEPS) and the French Committee Perre de Coubertin organized the International Congress on the History of Sport and Olympism, which was attended by experts from all over the world.
The Center for Olympic Studies of the UCAM participated in this event with the interventions of Antonio Sánchez Pato and Alejandro Leiva.
Sánchez Pato, dean of the Faculty of Sports gave a lecture on 'The anthropophilosophical significance of the Olympic agons' while the lecture by Alejandro Leiva, deputy director of Academic Planning of the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences at UCAM, discussed on 'the Spanish female Olympic participation from Tokyo 1964 to Tokyo 2020'.
