The Governing Board has approved the acquisition of the sculpture called 'Theatrical Harlequin Lady', by Juan José Quirós that will be exhibited at the Bernal Theater.
'Theatrical harlequin lady' is a bronze bust of 65x30 centimeters that was part of the exhibition that was held in this theater from October 2015 to February 2016, with a large influx of audiences and recognition of the artistic world.
The Department of Culture and Heritage recovery will invest in the acquisition of sculpture 3,025 euros.
Quirós was born in 1972 in Cartagena, and is one of the most recognized artists currently in the Region.
One of his works, a bust of Martínez Tornel, has been in the Plaza of his same name since December 2016, which was installed on the occasion of the centenary of the journalist's death.
