The City Council gives the green light to the assembly and disassembly of the electoral device for the November 10 elections (24/10/2019)

The service includes the storage and distribution of the polls and voting booths, as well as their withdrawal and cleaning after the elections.

It also includes the distribution of the ballots, of each of the parties that attend, and the installation of electoral boards.

The City of Murcia, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, directed by José Guillén, has given the green light to the service of installation of electoral boards, assembly and disassembly of electoral colleges for the general elections of the next 10 of November.

The contract contemplates the installation in the municipal district of Murcia of the metal panels-supports destined for the placement of the posters of the various political formations that concur to any electoral process covered by the Organic Law of General Electoral Regime.

The city of Murcia will have a total of 30 points enabled for electoral propaganda.

There will also be points in each of the 59 districts.

It also includes the assembly and distribution of the polls and booths that will be installed for the elections of November 10 in each of the schools that are enabled for this purpose, as well as the metal supports identifying tables and schools.

The distribution of the ballots of each party or political group that concurs to each process, Senate and Congress, is also part of this contract.

Finally, the removal, cleaning, classification and deposit in the municipal facilities of the panels-supports installed on public roads is contemplated, as well as the disassembly, classification and deposit of the polls, booths and metal supports identifying tables and electoral colleges .

The contract on the electoral device for the next elections on November 10 will have a maximum cost of 70,059 euros (VAT included).

Tables and electoral propaganda

A total of 519 polling stations will be arranged by the City of Murcia on Sunday, November 10 for the holding of the general elections.

Each of the tables will be composed of a president and two members, with their corresponding alternates, in the number of two for each position, which makes a total of 4,671 people.

The electoral campaign will begin at 24:00 on Thursday, October 31 and end at 24:00 on Friday, November 8.
