María Pagés joins poetry and dance in her show ´Oyeme con los ojos´, which will arrive this Sunday at the TCM (24/10/2019)

The Teatro Circo Murcia (TCM) hosts this Sunday, October 27, the spectacle of the choreographer and dancer María Pagés 'Hear me with your eyes';

a solo in which the creator reflects on life, dance, desire and body and that part of the meanings of the poem 'Sentiments de absent', by the Mexican Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, and the verses of others Mystic and Sufi poets among whom also stands the Murcian Ibn Arabí.

A dance that travels the paths of mysticism to awaken the senses is the proposal of Pagés, thus linking poetry, history, singing and dancing on a bare stage.

And for this alone, the Sevillian has opted for a dance stripped of all artifice with which she seeks the essence of flamenco and aspires to trap the universality of emotion and human roots in life and hope.

María Pagés began her career in the company of Antonio Gades, whom she considers her teacher, and has received, among many other awards, the 2002 National Dance Award (Creation) and the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts 2014. ' Hear me with your eyes' will be represented at the TCM this Sunday, October 27, at 7 pm.

In addition to the dance show, the Teatro Circo Murcia will open its doors this week to humor, with the show 'Gag Movie' by Yllana.

Included in the Big Week of Cajamurcia, 'Gag Movie' is a show of humor and ingenuity starring four characters who, caught in time and in the narrowness of a frame, invite the public to an intense journey through the intricacies of the world of cinema and for some of the highlights of the so-called seventh art.

It will be represented on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October, at 9 pm, and tickets are on sale for 15, 18 and 20 euros.

Romea Theater

The Romea Theater in Murcia, meanwhile, will host María Villalón's concert 'From Ayamonte to Fado' (Saturday, October 26, 9:00 p.m. / 12, 16 and 20 euros).

A clear tribute to the Granada-born musician Carlos Cano with whom Villalón returns to his origins and to the music that made him want to be a singer: couplets, fados, flamenco and Iberian songs that are part of the two neighboring countries.

And for the little ones, on Sunday, October 27 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (13, 16 and 19 euros), the 'Pica Pica' gang will go up to the Romea tables with their new show, 'Holidays! Butt Cool! '

Nacho Bombín, Emi Bombín and Belén Pelo de Oro go together for the first time on vacation to the 'Tope Guay' camp, where they will add new friends to their gang to have fun singing, dancing and playing.
