Three districts and two districts already have a new Municipal Board.
Thus, Francisco José Ludeña Buendía was appointed last night president of the Municipal Board of Santiago and Zaraiche, in an act chaired by the councilor of Pedanías and Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández.
Jesús Aliaga Hernandez continues as president of the Municipal Board of La Ñora.
The act was chaired by the Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro.
The District of Santa María de Gracia has been chaired since last night by Arantxa Hernández Ros, and the Eastern District by Rafael Gómez Gómez.
The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez and the Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, respectively presided last night the constitution of these boards
Finally, Juan José Garre Navarro was appointed president of the Municipal Board of Algezares, in the act chaired by the Councilor for Social and Family Rights, Pilar Torres
Tonight the acts of constitution of the Municipal Councils of Cañadas de San Pedro, Llano de Brujas, Nonduermas, Zarandona and Santa Cruz will be held.
In this way, the City Council continues with the process of constitution of the 67 municipal boards (including the pedigrees of La Murta and Cañada Hermosa) under the Department of Pedanías and Barrios, which is directed by Marco Antonio Fernández Esteban.
In total 587 people will be part of the municipal boards of these bodies whose main functions are the maintenance, conservation, repair and replacement of municipal infrastructure and buildings.
Likewise, they have the powers of promotion and dissemination of sports, social and cultural activities, as well as serve as transmitters of information between the town hall and the neighbors.
