PP: "The socialist party criticizes and puts impediments to receiving € 235,000 to hire unemployed to work in public gardens" (18/10/2019)

"The socialist municipal party talks about an agreement in the Government Board in which it was approved to receive and manage a grant from the Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Community, a fund lost to the City of Murcia to hire unemployed people for the settlement from various gardens of the municipality, "explains José Guillén.

The City of Murcia has a grant from the Regional Employment Service of the Region of Murcia, for a total amount of 235,661.93 euros, for the hiring of unemployed personnel for the purpose of the project 'Reforms in various gardens of Murcia and districts ', whose call was approved last week at the Governing Board.

However, the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, highlights that "the socialist party criticizes and prevents impediments to receive 235,000 euros to hire unemployed to work in public gardens."

"The statements made by councilman Antonio Benito do not know if he makes them out of evil or ignorance, that I do not know what is worse than both," says the mayor.

In this sense, "criticizing an opportunity for people is not only to be uninformed, but should be immoral," according to the mayor.

"What this man intends to do is that there is a duplicity of expenses when what we do is receive money to invest in hiring people without jobs."

"We work for unemployed people to have new opportunities and it is precisely a party that has the word 'worker' in its acronym that should support this initiative or, at least, have studied or read it," José Guillén defends.

"Evil or ignorance do not understand that the socialist party has among its ranks councilors so poorly trained and uninformed, capable of launching such insults and slander to the public media with such little rigor," he concludes.
