Promotion selects the winners of the contest to remodel the archaeological site of San Esteban in Murcia (18/10/2019)

The architectural remodeling will be carried out on the archaeological remains of the Arrabal de la Arrixaca, declared of Cultural Interest with the category of Archaeological Zone.

On Tuesday, October 15, the administrative envelope was opened that identifies the winners of the Contest of "Putting in value of the Archaeological Site of the Arrabal Andalusí de la Arrixaca and the Garden of San Esteban in Murcia", action that will be carried out on the remains Archebal de la Arrixaca archaeological sites, declared of Cultural Interest with category of Archaeological Zone.

The first prize has been awarded to the motto "HA-HA", presented by the joint venture formed by Ayllón †Paradela †De Andrés + Burgos & Garrido.

This first prize, endowed with 20,000 euros, allows the Ministry to start the procedure for contracting the execution project and the optional management of the works with this team.

Likewise, an Accésit with 10,000 euros is awarded to the motto "The garden, the square and the saint", presented by the architect Martín Lejarraga Azcarreta and two additional Accésits of 3,000 euros each, to the slogans "Up is down "presented by Muñoz Miranda Arquitectos SLP, and" Shadow Garden Vault "presented by AMID.CERO9 SLP

In addition, the following mentions are granted:

· Honorable mention to the proposal presented under the motto 5. Three layers.

· Honorable mention to the proposal presented under the motto 20. Jaima and water, both without financial endowment.
