The TCM celebrates this Friday "La fiesta del viejo", a montage by Argentine Fernando Ferrer created from "El Rey Lear" (16/10/2019)

The Teatro Circo Murcia (TCM) hosts this Friday the Argentine assembly 'La fiesta del viejo', by the playwright and director Fernando Ferrer;

a show created from Shakespeare's text 'The Lear King'.

In addition, the TCM will give this week a new sample of the versatility of its programming and will also schedule contemporary, children's and humorous dance shows.

'Set Of Sets' is the dance proposal that will arrive tomorrow Thursday, October 17 (9:00 p.m.), by the company GN | MC Guy Nader |

Maria Campos

Through the movement, of the bodies that, incessantly, defy gravity, Nader and Campos intend with this scenic project to attract the viewer's attention to the perception of time, memory and lived experiences.

Guy Nader and Maria Campos have been collaborating since 2006 and their company is based in Barcelona.

In their work, they develop an artistic language through the constant search for new contexts and territories to continually redefine their approach to movement.

Both share the same conception of dance and movement, where they seek a risky, demanding and energetic 'physicality', with the aim of pushing the body beyond its limits.

On Friday, October 18 (9:00 p.m.), it will be a night for the international theater, with 'La fiesta del viejo'.

Even a neighborhood soccer club and the celebration of its president's birthday moves the Argentine playwright and director Fernando Ferrer the kingdom of Brittany and the emotional journey of 'King Lear'.

From the famous play by Shakespeare and from the movie 'Ran', Kurrerwa left Ferrer to create this show that is staged by a dozen actors headed by Abian Vainstein.

The assembly was selected to participate in the 2017 Shakespeare International Festival and since its premiere it has gone through countless stages and festivals in Latin America and Europe.

Tickets can be purchased at the box office and on the website for 12, 15 and 18 euros.

Dance for the little ones

The children will also have their show at the TCM this week, Sunday, October 20 (11 and 12 hours).

With 'Blink Flash Duncan', they will embark on a magical journey based on the emotional biography of Isadora Duncan.

The piece, created and interpreted by Montse Roig, is an artistic proposal for the little ones that seeks to awaken the dance as a language of expression and open awareness of their own emotions and those of others.

And he does it through the story of Isa, a disenchanted girl who sees how one day, upon reaching a beach, her empty and sad world begins to fill with magic.

Isa finds herself creative, and in every corner she finds a new object that fills the world with color, music and experiences.

At the end of the piece, in addition, children are invited to explore on stage.

The show has a reduced capacity and two passes have been scheduled, at 11 and 12 o'clock.

Tickets for the 12 are already sold out but for the first locations can be purchased at the box office and online for 5 euros (TCM discounts not applicable).

The week will end, Sunday at 6:30 p.m., with the humor of 'Comandante Lara & Cía'.

A new show in which Luis Lara will talk about his relationship with his brother-in-law Ramiro, about his situation after leaving his girlfriend and about the problems to establish a new relationship with another girl.

A maelstrom of misfortunes transformed into monologues in the purest Cadiz style.

On this occasion, Commander Lara will also be accompanied by Jesús Tapia and Vicente Ruidos, who will act as opening act.

Tickets for this show are sold out.
