The Councilor for Social Rights and Family, Pilar Torres and the Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, have attended this morning the opening of the exhibition 'Connect with life', motto of the World Mental Health Day 2019, organized by the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness.
This sample includes 585m2 in the Youth Space until October 18, works prepared by the nearly 50 users of the association in the different painting, photography and ceramics workshops that are held during the year.
In total, 19 photographs, 21 paintings and about 30 ceramic pieces can be seen in the exhibition.
Between the works it emphasizes the creation of a heart with pipes of pvc and of pipe, painted of red, that simulate the arteries.
The Association of Families and People with Mental Illness was created in 1980 to defend the rights and quality of life of people with mental illness and their families.
