The TCM's contemporary dance program begins on Friday with a trip to ´Cuculand Souvenir´ (03/10/2019)

The Teatro Circo Murcia (TCM) begins this Friday, October 4, at 9:00 pm, its programming dedicated to contemporary dance with the show 'Cuculand Souvenir', by the company Roberto Olivan Performing Arts.

The montage, designed, created and directed by Roberto Olivan, fuses dance and circus with visual arts to explore the impact of technology on our daily lives.

Seven artists on stage show small fragments of our daily lives.

Isolated and independent stories, but with their own meaning, as happens with the daily publications that we find in the 'walls' of social networks.

Visual stories that make up a mosaic of suggested images that invite the observer to let go and connect the points at their own discretion, fleeing from conventional linear dramaturgy.

'Cuculand Souvenir' is also a large format production that is committed to a potentially innovative language supported by music and technology, with about 23,000 centimeters of LEDs and 900 meters of electrical wiring.

The light patterns of the LED pictures, the luminescent islands, the fragmented screens and the electroacoustic music enrich the scenery.

For all this, Olivan has had the work of the Belgian sound artist and composer Laurent Delforge (design, creation and musical direction) and the French visual artist Romain Tardy, currently considered as one of the creators of audio-visual installations, set designs and lights Most important in the world.

Locations to attend 'Cuculand Souvenir' can be purchased for the price of 10, 12 and 15 euros at the TCM box office and through the Internet.

This show is also included in the 'DANZA Pass' of the theater, which also includes tickets for 'The Lamb' (Nov. 28) and 'Vigor Mortis' (Jan 23).

The subscriptions for the three shows are on sale for 29.25 euros (25% discount in Zone A).

'Intense Blue'

After the dance, the TCM will host on Saturday, October 5 (9:00 p.m.), the theater show 'Intensely Blue', a text by Juan Mayorga staged by the actor César Sarachu and based on a real experience of the playwright.

"One morning, when I woke up, I found my shortsighted glasses broken on the floor. After a few moments of bewilderment, I regained my calm by remembering that I had other prescription glasses: swimming glasses."

This is how Mayorga explains the beginning of this adventure in which he soon began to mix what was happening and what could have happened and that, turned into a theatrical monologue, invites the viewer to see life in another way, with another color.

Juan Mayorga is for many the best Spanish playwright of the moment.

Author of more than twenty theatrical texts and numerous versions, he has obtained, among other awards, the National Theater (2007), the Valle-Inclán (2009), the Max to the best author (2006, 2008 and 2009), the Max for the best adaptation (2008) and the National Dramatic Literature (2013).

He is also a member of the Royal Spanish Academy.

The 'Intense blue' locations are for sale, at the box office and on the internet, for 10, 12 and 15 euros.

And also in this case the spectators still have the opportunity to acquire the 'GENERAL Fertilizer', which allows access, for the amount of 58.5 euros (Zone A), to the representations of 'Intense blue', 'The party of the old '(Oct 18),' Jauría '(Nov 2) and' La courage '(Nov 29).

'Rock in family'

The weekend will conclude at the Teatro Circo Murcia on Sunday, October 6 (12:00 hours), with the Family Rock show 'Discovering Rolling Stones'.

Through this musical montage, the little ones will discover, in the funniest way, one of the great groups in the history of rock, thanks to the explanations of Professor 'Rockito' and the performance of the tribute band Satanic Majesties, which will offer a small concert with some of the successes of the Rolling.

Tickets for 'Discovering Rolling Stones' are priced at 12 euros and a special 5x4 promotion is available at the box office.
