The Association of Journalists of the Region of Murcia has delivered the Responsible Communication Seal to the Municipal Company of Aguas y Saneamiento de Murcia SA
(EMUASA), for its commitment to the criteria of responsibility in communication matters.
Aguas de Murcia, dedicated to the supply of drinking water, sewage and wastewater treatment, has committed to carry out a quality institutional communication based on the ethical standards of journalism, as well as to ensure that such communication is managed by a professional titled and collegiate.
The Responsible Communication Seal guarantees the proper use of the company's communication functions, included in the principles of professionalism and journalistic ethics of Spain.
The dean of the Association of Journalists of the Region of Murcia, Juan Antonio De Heras, applauds the initiative of Aguas de Murcia to acquire the Responsible Communication Seal and adds that “this commitment not only encourages the dissemination of truthful information, implies a change in the corporate paradigm by encouraging the professional responsibility of journalism ”.
The director of Human Resources and Communication of the company, Iigo Unanue, thanked on behalf of the Aguas de Murcia team this recognition of the Seal of Quality in Responsible Communication, ensuring that “for the company it is a pride to receive this Seal of Quality in Responsible Communication , matter in which it has been working hard for years, aware of the provision of an essential public service for citizens.
