The Road Cleaning Service visits the Ecofira to know what's new that can be implemented in Murcia to boost the circular economy (02/10/2019)

The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, has visited this morning Ecofira, the international contest of environmental solutions in order to know the latest advances in circular economy and efficient environmental management.

During the visit he was accompanied by municipal technicians as well as representatives of the concessionaire of the road cleaning and waste management service of the municipality, Ferrovial Servicios, and its Regional Director, Jorge Tejedo.

Ecofira with 16 editions held in Valencia, has been consolidated as a reference being the largest showcase in R + D + I in environmental management with solutions among others for the treatment of waste (Collection, transport, recovery, disposal, machinery, recycling, biological systems ...), municipal road cleaning (systems and equipment), emission control, atmosphere and air quality and noise pollution, environmental management and certification systems.

Pérez explained that "during the visit we have known a good number of innovations and innovations that may be implemented in the city in the future, with the common denominator of what is known as the circular economy, that is, a production model and consumption that involves sharing, reducing, reusing, repairing, renovating and recycling existing materials and products as many times as possible to create added value.
