Cultural centers offer more than 10,000 places in courses and workshops (01/10/2019)

The Department of Culture and Heritage Recovery, directed by Jesús Pacheco, has opened today the deadline for registration in the 550 courses and workshops, which can be accessed by more than 10,000 people, which offer cultural centers this season.

Registration can be done until October 11 online at the website of Cultural Centers enclavecultura.com or in person at the Cultural Center where the activity you want to request will be carried out, by filling in the registration form provided Monday through Friday from 17 to 21 hours in general.

In case there are more applications than places offered, a public lottery will be held in each of the centers on October 17.

The time at which it will be held will be reported on the bulletin board of the center.

It will be October 24 when the lists of admitted will be published

The rules for registration can be found on its website, in the cultural centers and in the registration form.

In general, all persons over 16 years of age registered in the municipality of Murcia may enroll in courses, workshops and seminars.

The offer of workshops presented by the Cultural Centers is varied and numerous.

Free activities, from Monday to Friday and in a wide time band, morning and afternoon, available to all the residents of the municipality.

Thus, a large number of plastic arts, theater and music workshops are offered.

More than 70 introductory courses in drawing and painting, specialized painting or ceramics.

Support and training for the different amateur theater groups that have been created in the Cultural Centers within the theatrical technique workshops.

And more than 30 courses dedicated to choral singing, guitar, percussion and other musical initiatives.

One of the lines of work that every year is gaining more strength in the Cultural Centers of the municipality of Murcia is related to initiatives that aim to activate mechanisms to enhance our intangible cultural heritage.

That is why a varied offer of local history workshops and archiving and documentation is made.

Photographic memory, life stories, customs and traditions ... An initiative to which more and more neighbors are joining.

To these activities we must add the recovery workshops of traditional crafts such as esparto, embroidery and bobbin.

In addition to the workshops, collaborative workspaces are offered by opening meeting rooms for various subjects in which people who have previously participated in courses can continue practicing and exchanging knowledge without a monitor.

In short, a whole series of activities that also include proposals from the field of gastronomy, health, audiovisuals, physical-healthy activities, dancing, DIY and decoration.
