It is an initiative to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons, celebrated on October 1.
Visitors can tour the different areas to meet all the species that inhabit the park.
"With initiatives such as these, we make the park a place more accessible to all audiences, specifically the elderly, who celebrate their day on October 1," highlights the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén.
The City Council and Terra Natura, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration and of Social and Family Rights, celebrate this weekend at the facilities of the animal park on International Day of the Elderly.
They do this by offering free admission to those over 60, both Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September.
During both days, visitors can enjoy the tour of the different areas to meet all the species that inhabit the park, as well as enjoy the scheduled activities, such as the raptor show or the exotic bird show.
In addition, to children under 3 to 12 years old who come to the park, Terra Natura will give them an invitation so they can return another holiday of their choice.
They will have to do it accompanied, at least, by an adult who must get their ticket.
The park will open at normal hours (from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.) and, until full capacity is reached, people over 60 will only have to prove their age at the ticket office to get free access.
"Terra Natura is one of the green lungs of the city, surrounded by nature and animals. With initiatives like these we make the park a place more accessible to all audiences, specifically the elderly, who celebrate their day on October 1 ", highlights Councilman José Guillén.
