The 18 components of the Musical Association Jubón and Trova performed songs of always, among others, If you tell me they see, María the Portuguese, Those Little Things, Chica de Ipanema, Corazon de Melón, The day you love me, Cantinero de Cuba, Sea and sky, The traveler, Night, and of course, the Bolero to Murcia.
All the songs were chanted by the audience and especially the Bolero in Murcia, which was mostly performed by those present.
This performance has been framed in the Cultural Week that Peña el Mortero celebrates between September 23 and 29, to which Jubón and Trova has been invited once again.
Jubón y Trova has long been a group with its own sound, a coherent proposal that tries to balance old-fashioned melodies with the most romantic cut pop, sprinkled all with a touch of carelessness.
He began his musical career in 2003, looking for the songs that best express feelings.
This is how musicians and voices come with different styles and trends, which are what end up unifying what is today a dream come true.
Each of its components, brings to the final set its color detail and varied sonorities that complement each other, keeping its particular vision independent.
Thus, each song is heard differently, with a different pattern, especially those created
for the group, pure waste of creativity that demonstrates the hours behind them.
Then, the arrangements in the best-known trovas, nuances shades, develop environments, capable of dealing with issues with their own seal with equal ease.
Proof of all this are the two CD's that they have recorded, and that they have provided so many satisfactions.
The first of them "Mi tierra de Murcia", is presented with twelve themes of the most varied styles, mixing authors as diverse as Pablo Milanés, Hugo Blanco, Serrat, Celia Cruz, or
Augusto Algueró, among others.
The second bet "Paradise", has led to the group's confirmation with a dozen proposals shared by prestigious singers such as Mari Trini, The Manhatan Transfer, Nicolás Ferre, Soledad Bravo, Mikis Theodorakis, Víctor Manuel ...
We use for this, guitars, strings, percussion, accordion, double bass, wind instruments, requinto ... and all together with a set of very varied voices.
From what is distinguished, a group capable of agglutinating very diverse styles, which has the ideal antidote in music to see the good side of things.
