The Socialist Municipal Group has defended this morning a motion so that the Plenary Session of the City of Murcia assumed its responsibility as an administration closer to the citizen and urged the Autonomous Community to provide funds to help the victims of the recent cold drop (DANA), At the same time he asked that the City Council itself approve discounts on some taxes, as well as make available to the affected neighbors the Contingency Fund, endowed with 1.9 million euros and consigned year after year to mitigate the effects of a catastrophe.
Despite the proposal of the Socialist Group, PP and Cs have voted against it because "they do not believe that the situation is clear and because they consider these measures precipitated," which, according to PSOE spokesman José Antonio Serrano, is "shameful."
Likewise, he recalled that the central government has been agile and responsible by passing a decree law and assuming its duty to help those affected.
The socialist proposals sought reductions in the IBI, the seal of the car or the permits for minor works, and making available to those affected the 1.9 million euros of the Contingency Fund, which, as Serrano recalled, "is for emergencies and not to pay overtime as the PP has done in previous years. "
"Of course, for trips to China nothing is haggled."
