Pupaclown will offer about 70 activities until next December (25/09/2019)

The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, attended this morning, along with Juan Antonio Lorca Sánchez, general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia, and Mª José Astillero, president of the Pupaclown Foundation, to the presentation of the programming of the 7th Festival of Social Circus Tent of Reception and of the 10th Festival of Performing Arts for Children of the Pupaclown Foundation, which will run until next December.

Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (INAEM), the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA) and the City of Murcia, Pupaclown has organized about seventy first level activities with Circus shows, clown, theater, puppets, music and workshops (both training and family) to enjoy the last four months of the year.

From September 23 to October 17, the 7th Social Tent Circus Festival will be held, a project that started seven years ago to accommodate circus shows and workshops, paying special attention to minors at risk of social exclusion.

The main objective of this initiative focuses on bringing the magic of the circus, as an integration tool, to groups at risk of exclusion, reception centers and, in short, to anyone who wants to know first-hand the circus art in particular and creativity in general

Between September 23 and October 11, the Reception Circus Workshop will be held, aimed at 16 young people between 13 and 17 years at risk of social exclusion and children from standardized families, organized in collaboration with the Directorate General of Family and Protection of Minors of the Region of Murcia.

For 10 professional days of the circus arts, the different disciplines will work with the children (juggling, acrobatics, aerial, balance, clown ...) using them as a pedagogical tool.

The result of this project can be seen on Saturday, October 12, in the Open Sample "Acrobatic Dreams".

In it, young people will show the public the different artistic and personal skills acquired.

We will close the festival on Thursday, October 17, with a Round Table, in which we will evaluate what happened during the workshop with the Association The Scenic Fireplace, The Subcielo Company, specialists of the Reception Centers of Murcia, participants in the project, parents / mothers of the member children and Pupaclown.

On Sunday, October 6, for all those people who want to immerse themselves in circus techniques, a new edition of the Family Circus Workshop will take place, a session to enjoy with the family, with two passes differentiated by age so that the little ones can learn juggling or flying hanging from cloth in the company of their relatives, a good opportunity to strengthen ties between parents and children.

The Festival's program will consist of circus shows aimed at the family audience.

On Saturday, September 28, the company Vol´e Temps, from Granada, will bring to the Pupaclown Scenic Center its show "Distans" which in 2019 won the "Fetén Award for the Best Show" and "Lorca Award for the Best Circus Show" combining a space visual and sound with acrobatic circus and gestural theater.

On Sunday, September 29, the company Nueveuno, from Madrid, with its show "Sinergia 3.0" will combine juggling techniques, manipulation of objects, vertical and dance choreographed with great geometric plasticity and harmonic sensitivity.

The Pupaclown Foundation organizes another year and there are already ten, the Festival of Performing Arts for Children, which as the first day maintains its philosophy of diversity, programming activities so that the whole family can enjoy different disciplines within the field of arts Scenic

The Pupaclown company and its applauded folk tales will be present throughout the program, with its most acclaimed show "The 3 Little Pigs" in charge of opening the curtain on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20, but it will not be the only work of the company this fall, on Sunday November 3 "The 7 Kids" will re-plan their delirious adventures to escape the wolf.

And on Sunday December 1 in "Pupaventuras" the Pupaclown Membrilla, Pipa and Golosino come ready to make us spend a hilarious time with their fun adventures.

From Seville, La Banda de Otro, with its show "Yee-Haw", on Saturday, October 26 will give us a fun circus show where it is impossible to distinguish musicians and jugglers from clowns.

The next day, on Sunday, October 27, the company Ángeles de Trapo, from Malaga, arrives to fascinate us with its delicious automaton puppet show awarded with the Best Show at the 2016 TITIRIYÉBENES Puppet Festival "Carousel Travelers".

On Saturday, November 2, the company Marie de Jongh, from Bilbao, National Prize for the Performing Arts for Children and Youth 2018 brings to the "Kibubu" Tournesol Award for Best Children's Show 2015 a beautiful show about respect and freedom.

On Saturday, November 9, the company La Teta Calva, from Valencia, will invite us to share with them a work that goes directly to the heart and the senses "El Tambor de Cora".

A story of friendship, courage and courage with live music and objects that come to life.

This show will be Audiodescribed in collaboration with ONCE.

Within the program of TITEREMURCIA, 18th International Festival of Puppet Theater in the Region of Murcia, the Pupaclown Scenic Center will bring 2 shows.

The first on Sunday, November 10

"A story of Wind", by the company Teatro Pavel Smid, a show full of songs, interaction with the public and humor.

And the second on Saturday, November 16, Mimaia Theater, from Barcelona, ​​comes with its "Peloloco", a story that invites reflection on the value of the things that surround our lives.

On Saturday, November 23, the Unfathomable Brothers will bring us from Seville a fun mix between music, circus and humor with "Diábolo Clasic Metal", OFF -VII Prize Festival Tac de Valladolid 2003.

On Sunday, November 24 Teatro Paraiso, in Vitoria, National Prize for the Performing Arts for Children and Youth 2012 will present a small and flirtatious globetrotter "Lunaticus Circus" a circus to think, laugh, dream and play to transform reality , FETÉN Prize 2016 for the Best Scenography.

On Saturday, November 30, Teloncillo Theater, of Valladolid, National Prize for the Performing Arts for Children and Youth 2013 will make us fall in love with "Azul" a beautiful proposal that will delight the smallest of the house.

On Saturday, December 14, the play "Mowgli: The Jungle Book" will return from the company La Carreta, in Alicante, which with puppets and actors will make us reflect on the balance of the laws of Nature.

To close the autumn program on Sunday, December 15 "Goodbye Peter Pan" comes from the hand of Festuc Theater, Lleida to delight us with an emotional story that speaks to us with puppets and actors of the bond between children and their grandparents and how parents manage these new relationships.

In the training section, three workshops will be launched: on Sunday, October 13, we will have another Family Workshop, this time of Theater Games directed by the company Ayeklauwn that will be a family meeting place and fun through scenic play, body expression and improvisation.

Carles Castillo will work on this course aimed at people related to the world of the scene and the interpretation: Improvisation in Theater Work on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday October 16 and the last workshop for this quarter will be on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 of October and under the title Cuentoterapia: The Road to Solidarity through the Stories Lorenzo-Antonio Hernández Pallarés, Carmen Clemente, Mariano Cegarra and Paco Jorquera will teach us how stories can help us get out of the selfishness of having to enter the path of solidarity and of Being

Tickets for the shows are now available through the website of the Pupaclown Scenic Center www.pupaclown.org, within the "Programming" tab and at the theater box office from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm and one hour before the start of each show.

The ticket price is 7 euros for any show.
