The new network program for leisure time offers until December 40 free activities (23/09/2019)

The new programming of networks for leisure time, organized by the Youth Service, will begin next Thursday, September 26.

The new program for young people of the municipality of the last months of the year will offer 40 free activities every weekend that will take place during ten weekends beginning on September 27 and ending on December 15.

The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, explained that “our goal with this program is that young people, whatever their interests and hobbies, can enjoy activities designed specifically for them during the weekends enjoying leisure time responsable".

Among the novelties of the new program, there are three guided routes that will address different themes: 'Mysteries of a Cathedral', on October 26;

'History of our streets', on November 9;

and 'Secrets and mysteries of our architecture', on November 16.

Another novelty is the realization of 'YouTube Impact Lab' on Friday, November 22 and 29 and December 13 at the Cultural Center of Santiago and Zaraiche, a workshop `to learn how to use this video platform correctly

In addition, on November 9 there will be a Trivial Championship in the 585 young Space.

During this quarter, an urban dance day will be held with the 'Lemon and Pepper' championship in which dancers from two different modalities will compete, Breaking and All Styles.

This activity will be held on October 26 in the Young Space El Palmar.

We must also highlight the realization of the Indoor Soccer / Network Championship at night, in which different teams will compete in different rounds on Fridays.

The teams will be integrated with a maximum of 12 players and the deadline for registering teams ends on October 22.

The cooking workshops are also present in the new programming.

These workshops are "Halloween Recipes", "Fall Recipes" and "Christmas Recipes".

Young people can also enjoy outdoor activities on Saturday mornings.

The outdoor activities scheduled for this quarter are:

- Canoeing on the Segura River on October 19

- Hiking trail through the Sierra de Altaona, territory of the Royal Owl on November 29

-Canyon descent on November 30.

Once again, the Networks Program is committed to inclusive leisure, leisure by and for everyone.

Therefore, during the quarter that will begin, two inclusive championships will be held: an inclusive swimming championship in the pool of the Espinardo University Campus on November 30 from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., and an inclusive table tennis championship in the Young Space El Palmar on November 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

In addition, workshops of Kpop, salsa, bachata, manga comic, self defense, capoeira, guitar, astronomy initiation, fencing, magic, jugger ...

All programming is available on the website www.redesmurcia.es.

To register for the workshops you must fill in the registration form on the web or through the RedesMurcia APP.
