Socialist Youth of the Municipality of Murcia have completed their annual campaign "To school with what I need", with which they collect school supplies to denounce the lack of aid for the acquisition of such material among the neediest families.
The campaign consisted of collecting school supplies for two days, which, finally, has been delivered to the CEIP NTRA SRA of Peace.
During these days, an important number of notebooks, scissors, pens and other school supplies have been collected.
From JJSS Murcia we believe that the current conditions of access to aid for the acquisition of school supplies are so high that even people in real need of them are deprived of them.
Therefore, we require the City of Murcia to establish more aid for the acquisition of school supplies, as we consider it a very important expense in Murcia families when facing the beginning of the course, and the lack of resources for Some children may cause a deepening of inequality.
The Secretary General of the organization, José Javier Espinosa declares "we want to thank all of Murcia's society for their involvement in this campaign for another year, because without them it would not be possible. Hopefully, as soon as possible, the City Council will hear our demands and not it is necessary to continue campaigning of this type. Our goal as a society must be that each child can access the necessary school material regardless of their economic condition "
