´La Noche de las Velas´ closes on Saturday the program of events of the Murcia Fair (19/09/2019)

Terra Natura is lit on September 21 with more than 5,000 candles, torches and lanterns with live music, entertainment activities and the best cuisine.

"This is an activity that allows all Murcians to enjoy the zoo at dusk, since the entire route will be set in a magical way," said the Councilor for Urban Development, Jos Guilln.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office on the previous days during park opening hours, through page (www.terranatura.com) or on the same day in the park until the capacity is reached.

Terra Natura Park will be illuminated next Saturday, September 21, with 'The Night of Candles'.

With the collaboration of the City of Murcia, the park will be lit again with more than 5,000 candles, torches and lanterns, creating a unique environment to enjoy animals with activities designed for the whole family such as live music, entertainment or gastronomic tastings.

"This is an activity that allows all Murcians to enjoy the zoo at dusk, since the entire route will be set in a magical way," highlights the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, Jos Guilln.

This fifth edition will feature a catering offer of tapas and drinks from 9.30 pm.

The night will feature live music to the rhythm of blues, jazz, flamenco and the sound of the saxophone.

Thus, the AC&C Plectrum String Trio will perform at the Summer School Plaza, from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Juan Madrum at Plaza Isla, 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Blue Notes in the Wetland, 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and David Andreu at the Plaza Leones, 23.30 to 1.30 hours.

On the other hand, the animation activities will include painting and children's workshops in Plaza Isla and the Wetland.

Both will start at 9:30 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m.

Just then, a toy library with monitors will open until 1.30 pm in Lunatic.

"With this day of live music and tastings we close the program of events of the Murcia Fair, in a unique environment such as Terra Natura Park," highlights the Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesus Pacheco.

Tickets to attend can be purchased at the box office the previous days during park opening hours, through the ticket sales platform of the website (www.terranatura.com) or on the same day of the event at the park entrance until the capacity is completed.

The entrance includes four tapas, four drinks and an extra to choose between tapas and drinks.

In addition, more drinks can be purchased at the points enabled for it.

"Terra Natura is an open and available park for all the residents of Murcia, it is one of the green lungs of the city, surrounded by nature and wild animals that offers leisure alternatives and allows family fun in a unique and close environment to the city ”, highlights Councilman Jos Guilln.

This year the fifth edition of this event is celebrated, which every year is more successful, being an activity that will generate great expectation for Murcia.

The Councilor for Urban Development hopes to break the capacity records again and encourages all the neighbors to enjoy this unique experience, as well as book tickets in advance so they do not miss it.

The European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA) holds until Saturday its annual congress on conservation, research and education in nature protection, in which municipal and Park technicians participate in this event that brings together almost 1,500 in Valencia People from Europe and the Middle East.
