The Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Culture, offers this Tuesday at 20:00 in the Víctor Villegas Regional Auditorium, a solidarity concert framed in the program of events that the 'Murcia Club of Tennis 1919 'has organized for this year on the occasion of its centenary.
The musical formation, under the baton of the Valencian director Beatriz Fernández, will perform a classical and popular repertoire that will include works by Mozart, 'The Marriage of Figaro' and the Piano Concerto No. 23, with the young pianistamurciano José Vicente Riquelme as soloist .
To close the concert, the Symphony will put on the lecterns one of Haydn's best-known pieces, Symphony No. 104, known by the nickname 'London' and composed on request in 1794 for the Austrian composer's second tour of the capital British
All proceeds from this concert will go to 'Solidarity Surgery', a non-profit institution created by a group of health professionals from the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital with the aim of providing medical assistance in countries where there is a lack or lack of health coverage.
The tickets, on sale at the Murcia Tennis Club facilities, as well as enauditoriomurcia.org, have a fixed price of 20 euros.
