The City Council launches a device for volunteers who want to help the neighbors of the districts most affected by the rains (15/09/2019)

Before the numerous calls and messages received from neighbors offering to collaborate in the cleaning tasks, the City Council has put in place a device to coordinate the volunteers who want to help the neighbors of the districts most affected by the rains.

As of this afternoon, those interested in collaborating in the cleaning tasks of the affected areas of mud and water, and helping neighbors to recover normalcy will have to call 968358740, where their data will be taken (name and Surname, ID and telephone number).

Once the call is received, the volunteer will be informed of the meeting point in each district, to which they will have to travel by their own means, the material they will have to take, what the work will consist of, etc.

The hours of attention of calls of volunteers: from 9am to 3pm and from 4pm to 8pm.

There will be two shifts, in the morning and in the afternoon.

Volunteers are recommended to wear appropriate footwear (water boots) and comfortable clothing.

When the volunteer is referred to the district, there will be a team in a City Hall tent coordinated by Civil Protection personnel who will be responsible for distributing the volunteers in the district.

On the other hand, those affected are reminded that they can call 112 to request volunteers and that they will be sent to the City Council.
