The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, presented this morning the Plan for the execution of the provisional deviations of the collectors affected by the underground works, after being designed in different meetings by Emuasa and Adif technicians.

Thus, after the topographic marking by ADIF of the exact location of the pipes that cross the underground slab, the execution of all the necessary deviations has been planned and detailed.

The start of the deviation works is scheduled for the week of September 16.

Throughout the remainder of this week, the work prior to the start of the work will be carried out, such as the mandatory Coordination of Business Activities between the two contracting companies (Aldesa, ADIF contractor for underground and Construcciones Hnos. Espi ´n, contractor of EMUASA for the provisional deviations of municipal networks), the Local Police communication regarding the necessary occupation of the South Bank of the South side, the preparation of the work signaling and the necessary tastings for location of services if the weather forecast allows it, since the weather alert has been activated by AEMET.

The planned deviations, which will allow the elimination of municipal network crossings that interfere with the execution of the underground tunnel

Impulse of sanitation and Cancellation of Intercuencas Collector.

Thus, this action consists of two parts of the work:

- Impulsion: during this day it will be reconsidered in situ in accordance with the limits of expropriation and availability of land marked by ADIF.

This part of the work will begin the week of September 16.

- Cancellation of the Intercuencas Collector: For the cancellation of this collector, the need for coordination between EMUASA (48 hours of execution) and ADIF (permit processing for the impact of vi ´aa rail traffic in a weekend), since these works imply access to a 6 meter deep box located below the roads where the train is currently circulating and, therefore, it is necessary the rail traffic stop.

ADIF will manage and process the authorization within the period of two months planned for the execution of the works, with EMUASA being able to deal with this part of the work at the time that such permission is obtained.

Provisional bypass of the Plan Sur Collector in Senda de Los Garres

On the plane, a possible location for the provisional pumping group has been proposed.

Today, the final location of this by-pass group will be finalized and coordinated with Aldesa, as well as the cancellation of the Plan Sur collector that interferes with the underground works.

This action could be started from the week of September 23.

For the replacement of driving in Ronda Sur, today it will also be reconsidered in situ in accordance with the limits of expropriation and availability of land marked by ADIF.

A series of demolitions to be carried out by ADIF prior to the action of EMUASA have been identified.

In the week of September 16, works can be initiated by EMUASA, as all the hydraulic materials necessary for its execution are available.

This reposition will allow the supply conduction to be canceled in Torre de Romo Street that connects the neighborhoods of Infante and Santiago el Mayor and interferes with the execution of the screens of the underground works.

With this action of repositioning the conduction under Ronda Sur, normal drinking water service is guaranteed to these neighborhoods.
