In the municipality of Murcia there are more than 15,000 palm trees, among them are more than 400 copies attached to the Demarcation of Roads, however, from the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration the STV-Actúa concessionary company has been urged to that perform these actions, as it is being done.

The palm trees are, in their majority, of great size, reached between 15 and 20 meters high, for which numerous human and material means are being used such as a fortnight of palm trees, an octopus truck as well as a lifting basket.

These actions are complemented by periodic work that will begin during the middle of the tram during the month at night, without interrupting the daily service provided to Murcia at any time.
