CONSUMUR asks consumers to report any irregularities they detect during the Murcia Fair 2019 (05/09/2019)

The Association of Consumers and Network Users, CONSUMUR, recommends Murcia consumers and users to exercise their rights in the event of possible abuses that they may suffer during the Murcia Fair.

In this sense, the organization expects that the inspection services of the City of Murcia act effectively against irregularities in consumption, although it is known that inspections are carried out.

Thus, it is essential that inspectors control the hygiene in food sold in orchards and the existence of street vendors without a license, since their products are fundamentally food, so a lack of control over these can pose serious problems if Your condition is poor.

Likewise, CONSUMUR expects the City Council to control the sale of alcohol in the orchards and other establishments to ensure that it is not distributed to minors.

In relation to the prices of the products, the organization remembers that these are free and can vary significantly from one day to another, so they have to look at the price lists, which both orchards and hotel establishments are required to display clearly to the public.

These prices must include Value Added Tax (VAT).

The organization advises caution with the hygienic conditions of food.

It is necessary to refrain from buying products in those places where the cleaning conditions of the employees are doubtful.

Likewise, CONSUMUR asks consumers and users to be demanding with the conditions of food preservation, since it is their health that is at stake.

In relation to the consumption of beverages, the organization asks consumers to be careful with the drink and, above all, to remember that fun is not measured by the amount of alcohol ingested.

On the other hand, as regards the attractions of the fairgrounds, it is essential to always respect the age recommended for each one and strictly comply with all the safety regulations that are warned before using them.

Finally, CONSUMUR recommends consumers and users to report any irregularities they detect.

For this, more information can be received by going to the organization, as well as through its Virtual Office (www.consumur.org), available to the consumer and / or user 24 hours a day.

You can also request information by calling the Consumer and User Information Telephone: 968 22 30 82.
