PP: "The children's schools of Beniaján and Algezares will begin the course on September 9" (04/09/2019)

Councilwoman Belén López emphasizes that "while the PSOE is dedicated to criticize, we are working from the first day so that these children remain in spaces that meet all the security measures and the best services."

"The children's schools of Beniaján and Algezares will begin the course on September 9 as throughout the municipality," said the Councilor for Education and Infantile Schools, Belén López Cambronero.

"While the municipal PSOE is dedicated to criticize, we are working from the first day so that these children can remain in spaces that meet all the security measures and have the best services," says the mayor.

"And that is not achieved lightly or in the short term. It is achieved by working, studying all possible ways and listening to each other, which is precisely what the socialist party seems not to like," says Belén López.

In this way, the councilor guarantees that the students of the children's schools of Beniaján and Algezares will start the course on September 9, like those of any other town in the municipality of Murcia.

He explains that "due to the poor condition of both buildings, advised by municipal technicians, it has been decided to temporarily relocate children to other centers, while making the best decisions about the future of the facilities."

"We are not going to allow students to start the course anywhere. They must do so in buildings that meet all safety measures, in a space that guarantees everyone's learning and well-being, in addition to complying with current legislation."

In this way, students from 0 to 1 years old from Beniaján will be relocated this course to a center in their own locality.

For their part, after analyzing different spaces, finally those of the San Roque de Algezares school will be transferred to El Lugarico, "an educational center located in El Palmar that meets all the services and requirements to be able to carry out the activity."

"While the Socialists are now asking for an audit, we are already working from the start. We request the relevant reports and we are studying the situation with the idea that the children start the course on September 9," says Belén López.

Finally, he concludes that "instead of giving press conferences and mobility to people, it would be ideal to have their collaboration and think together about the future of these children."
