The Gran Vía de Murcia is now ready for the Murcia Fair with the repainting work that has been undertaken this week.

The Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth continues with these works, both repainting and water cleaning, in the different roads of the city and districts.

The Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth carries out tasks of water cleaning and repainting of the horizontal signage of different roads in Murcia and districts.

Specifically, these works have been taking place this week in different streets of the city center, such as the Gran Vía. The Traffic Service has made sure that the main artery of the city is ready for the Murcia Fair for that the repainting of all its horizontal signage has been carried out.

“These works have been developed throughout the summer in the different parts of the municipality to interfere as little as possible with the daily use of parking areas, which are free for these tasks and thus minimize the inconvenience that may be caused to citizens â€, Highlights Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez.

These actions are carried out with a preventive maintenance nature, since the horizontal signaling (pedestrian crossings, directional arrows, symbols, lane separation lines) is subject to continuous wear due to the performance of road traffic and atmospheric elements and climatological, are those that can only be programmed throughout the year, depending on the needs.
