The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the 'Safe Trade Plan', has developed an investigation to clarify a robbery committed in a Murcia trade, which has culminated, a few hours later, with the identification, location and detention of a young man, as the alleged perpetrator of robbery with violence and intimidation.
The events took place on the morning of last Thursday, August 29, in the Murcia neighborhood of El Raal, when an individual agreed to a local trade, started a conversation with the clerk, who made several consultations with the intention to gain your trust, to subsequently and using a large knife, intimidate you to subtract cash from the cash register and other products of the store.
The clerk faced the robber and managed to thwart the consummation of the robbery and that the latter fled the place.
Subsequently, the victim alerted the emergency services.
Shortly after the robbery was committed and after being informed of the facts, effective Citizen Security Prevention of La Benemérita arrived at the public establishment, verified the commission of the robbery with intimidation and initiated the corresponding investigation to clarify the facts and detain the author.
The first investigations were carried out in the place where the robbery had been committed and they were oriented to gather all possible information about the modus operandi and the person who was behind it.
As a result of the investigation and a search device for possible robbery suspects, the Civil Guard managed to locate a house where the material author of the events could be hidden, so that, once all the necessary evidence was obtained, a device was established surveillance over this one that culminated, a few hours after the robbery was committed, with its location and detention as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of robbery with violence and intimidation.
During the arrest, the civil guards also seized a knife: a large knife, which the arrested allegedly used to intimidate the trade clerk.
The 19-year-old Spanish detainee, resident in Murcia and with diverse backgrounds for the commission of crimes against the estate, the effects seized and the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Murcia.
