On July 20, 1969, the lunar module of the Apollo 11 space mission, manned by NASA astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, landed successfully on the surface of the Moon.
The Museum of Science and Water wants to join the celebration by programming throughout the summer the special session of planetarium 'Anniversary of Apollo 11', which will take place on Thursdays in July at 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays in August at 1:00 p.m. .
During this session the museum visitor can see an animated video on the dome of the planetarium that reproduces the development of the Apollo 11 mission. After watching the film, it will be recalled, with the help of original photos and videos, how it was carried out the space mission and the moment when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin descended to the lunar surface.
The session will end with the vision of the night sky and the Moon from our coordinates the day in which the human being made one of the greatest feats in history: July 20, 1969.
The entry of this activity, recommended for over 12 years, is € 1 and can be purchased the same day at the Museum ticket office.
The information about this activity and all the programming of the summer planetarium of the Museum of Science and Water can be found on a website
