29 students complete the two training courses given this semester by the Alquerías Employment Resource Center (25/06/2019)

The Councilor for Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, Pedro José García Rex, has handed out the diplomas to the 29 students who have passed the courses taught during the first half of the year in the Resource Center for Employment Alquerías.

Specifically, two training courses have been developed: "Basic digital skills", aimed at unemployed people at risk of social exclusion -subsidized by the SEF- and "Competencies in Spanish Language Level 2", for immigrants - financed by the City Council -

The Alquerías Employment Resource Center offers courses attached to the Training Program for the Improvement of Employability, aimed preferentially at unemployed people.

This training consists mainly of knowledge of English, computer science, Spanish for immigrants and key skills in Spanish and mathematics and is in great demand, both by people who live in Alquerías and other neighboring districts.

The cost is financed with grants from the Employment and Training Service of the CARM (SEF) and also with funds from the Employment Service of the City Council.

The degree of satisfaction of the students with respect to the contents, teaching staff and training of both courses is very high: a score of 9.06 out of 10.

In total, 255 hours of training have been imparted.

30 people participated -26 women and 4 men-, 8 children under 30 years of age.

To facilitate the reconciliation of personal and work life, the Resource Center has a playroom service, where children under 4 are assisted by a professional.

At the end of the act of awarding diplomas, a lunch was served to the attendees prepared by the Hospitality School Murcia Emplea.
